Katrina Rhett, PT, DPT

Katrina was born and raised in the Midwest. She completed a Bachelor of Science program while majoring in biology and physiology and completed a master’s program with an emphasis in anatomy and physiology while studying at the University of Minnesota. During graduate school, Katrina also performed research in muscular dystrophy and cardiovascular disease. She relocated to Idaho to teach human anatomy at Idaho State University. After teaching courses in anatomy and physiology for undergraduate and graduate students, she decided to expand her knowledge of functional anatomy and pursue a doctoral degree in physical therapy.

Katrina is an invested physical therapist. She enjoys getting to know her patients’ individual needs and helping them reach their goals regardless of their abilities prior to therapy and barriers to recovery. She likes to team up with her patients so they can work together using her knowledge and skills and their values to achieve optimal outcomes.  She enjoys educating patients in order to empower them to make informed decisions and assist in their own recovery. She values providing undivided attention while treating her patients and using her advanced knowledge about the body to identify and treat the specific tissues involved in limiting patient function. Her special interests are in chronic pain, pediatrics, vestibular conditions, lymphedema, and complicated cases.

When Katrina is not in the clinic, she is typically enjoying the outdoors with her husband, spending time with her kids, riding her road bike, or baking.
