3 Stretches To Help With Recovery From A Sports Hernia

The Side Bend Stretch

This stretch involves standing straight with arms at each side. Legs should be shoulder-width apart. Next, the left arm needs to be lifted above the head and the top part of the body should bend to the right side. This position should be held for around 30 seconds. The same should be done on the other side. Try to repeat this exercise 4 times.

The Lunge Stretch

This exercise involves kneeling down on the left knee and turning the knee inwards. The right knee needs to be at a 90-degree angle and hands need to be placed in front, on the floor between the legs. Hips should then be extended to the floor as the right groin is stretched. This should be held for at least 15 seconds. Again, repeat on each side and do the exercise 4 times.

The Hip Extension Exercise

This exercise involves lying on the floor with the stomach facing downwards. Next, lift one leg around 6 inches from the floor. Keep the leg straight and hold for 30 seconds. Again, repeat using the other leg and then repeat the full exercise 4 times.
